Turning Point Therapy

This is an emotional healing therapy that is best described as a counseling session done in a meditative state. This session can take place in person or over the telephone. Usually, one session will address one issue and only one session is usually needed.

This session works best if you already have an idea of an “issue” that you are working on but do not seem to be getting to the core of its beginning. If you have no idea of what you want to work on, but do know what you want to change, then in a telephone conversation before the Therapy session, I can find our “starting point”. If in that conversation, I do not see the starting point, then I would suggest a Regular Soul Reading so that Your Higher or Inner Self can direct this session for you.

In the Turning Point Therapy Session itself, we coach you into a slightly altered state. I use the term “we” because I do this from a channeled state. The idea of this session is to coach you into a communication with the inner self, or inner child and facilitate connection or re-connection with the injured or denied part of the self. Depending upon what issue we are addressing, most often we can connect to the inner self and communicate with that part. In that communication, we negotiate a new perspective on an old memory or old event and then finish with a reunion with that part of yourself.

Some would call this “rescue” work, the idea being that in some of the traumas of our life, we get “stuck” back there and a small part of us still thinks that the trauma is alive and continuing and so our reactions in the present moment can be quite disempowered by the past memory that seems so alive to one part of us.

With Turning Point Therapy, I would most want you to realize that whatever issue you are working with, it is only a PART of you that is stuck there and unable to move on or find closure. Always, there is the weakened or stuck part and then there is the strong and present moment self. It is between these two parts that we work.

After the therapy session, it is suggested that you have an additional 30 to 60 minutes to “be” with what has taken place in the session. Perhaps some quiet time or some journal writing. As well, this therapy session is the beginning of the process and like a domino effect, over the following three to five days some emotional integration can take place. By example, if you were working with a “5 year old” version of yourself, you may experience some childish emotional moods and reactions for a few days.

Afterward, it is found that over the following weeks and months small and subtle changes begin to take place as the work achieved in the session begins to become apparent in your attitudes, reactions and resulting choices and decisions. This is called “outpicturing” and can continue to take place for up to three months after the session. This is where, and how, you will see the effects of the session on your life choices and outlook, as well as in the living of your life in a new and more whole way.

In Brief:

Turning Point Therapy
45 to 60 minutes each session, in person or on the telephone. This session is NOT recorded.

It is recommended that you have another 30 to 60 minutes alone and uninterrupted after the session for journal writing, or just to sit and be with what has occurred.

Most often it takes 3 to 5 days for the emotional integration of the work done in the session. And then 3 to 4 weeks for the “outpicturing” of the results, i.e. to see changes in your attitudes, and subtle changes in your reactions and decision making that will reflect what has been integrated and healed.
